SUPER TROWEL 23

Super Trowel 2023, the ultimate bricklaying competition, was a significant event in the bricklaying community. The main highlight of the event was the competition showcasing some of the best bricklayers in the industry competing for the top prize. Charlie Collison from Colchester emerged as a standout performer, laying an impressive 607 bricks in 60 minutes, earning him £4,500 and the title of the UK's fastest bricklayer.

In addition to the competitive aspect, the event featured various stalls displaying the latest tools, equipment, and techniques in bricklaying. Attendees had the opportunity to explore these stalls and interact with industry experts about their products and services.

The event catered to a diverse audience with a range of food options available on-site, including traditional BBQs and vegetarian choices. It was supported by multiple organizations and companies such as the Brick Development Association, Association of Brickwork Contractors, Mineral Products Association Mortar, Wienerberger, Stabila, CPI Euromix, and Fix Radio. Brick Jackets Ltd was the main sponsor, and the event also received support from charities like Band of Builders, Lighthouse Charity, and the MYHpodcast.
